Lorri Nandrea has a huge collection of rocks, shells, bones, and mysterious artifacts which she has packed and unpacked many times. She was born in Denver and went to school in California and Illinois. She taught English in Wisconsin, then moved to Oregon where she opened a bookstore. Then she went to North Carolina, where she worked at an after-school program and got to interact with wonderfully diverse group of students. She now lives in Western Maine. Apart from collecting things, she loves reading, writing, dogs, hiking in the mountains and exploring the coast. She is also trying to learn about ways people can unite and work together to make the world better for all living things.
